Basics

Jackpot stud poker is based on five-card Poker (see rules for Poker). You make an Ante bet and receive five cards face down. The Dealer also receives five cards with one turned face up. After looking at your hand, you have two choices:

Fold and surrender your Ante or Stay in the game by making a bet twice the amount of the Ante in the Raise area behind the Ante.

How To Play

  1. The Dealer then reveals his hand and compares it to each player's. If the Dealer does not have at least ACE-KING, he does not qualify. When the Dealer does not qualify, Raise wagers will be returned to you and Ante wagers paid at even money.

  2. When the Dealer qualifies and beats your hand, the Dealer collects both the Ante and Raise wagers. When the Dealer qualifies and loses to the player , you will win even money on the Ante, the amount paid on the Raise is determined on what hand you hold.
