Basics

Dice or Craps is one of the oldest, fastest and most exiting of Casino games and with a little help it is not as difficult as it may at first appear.
We have listed the different types of bets you can place and once you have learnt the differences between them you can hit the table with confidence.

Dice is played with two dice and players take turns clockwise around the table to become the Shooter - throwing both dice down the table so that they bounce off the end wall.

How To Play

Win Line

An even money bet- you bet on another player or yourself throwing two dice.

You win if you throw 7 or 11 (called a Natural) on your initial throw (called the come-out roll) or lose if you throw a 2, 3 or 12 (Craps).  Any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or10) becomes the point and to win you have to repeat that number again before a seven.

Once you have a point you can add an additional “Odds” bet up to the amount of your original stake which gets paid at the true odds.

Don't Win Line

The reverse of the Win-line, if on the come-out roll a 7 or 11 is thrown you lose, and win if a 3 or 12 are thrown but stand off on a 2.  Once a point has been established and repeated you lose, however if a 7 is thrown before the point you win.

Come Bets

This is like joining the game after a point has been established for the main game.

Come-bet like the Win-line, wins on a 7 or 11 and loses on a 2, 3 or 12 any other number thrown becomes your personal point which you can add the odds to,
You have to repeat that number again before a 7 to win.

Don't Come Bets

Like the Don’t-Win line you initially win on 3 or 12 and lose on a 7 or 11, you stand off on 2.   If your Don’t –Come number is repeated before a 7 you lose, if a 7 comes before the repetition you win.

Place Bets

Once the point has been established you may “Place” individual bets on the Box numbers.
Box bets to win- Number must be thrown before a 7.
Box bets to lose- 7 must be thrown before number.
