Private Tables

There are two types of private tables: Unrestricted and Private.
Unrestricted tables are just like regular tables, anyone can join, the only difference is that they have been created by a player.

Private tables are also created by players, however, to join a player must first be accepted by the owner of the table. These tables, in the lobby, are marked with a red padlock icon. When you open a private table you will be asked to send a request to join to the table owner. You also may choose to add a short message. If the owner accepts your request you will be able to join the table.

How to create a private table

First select Private Tables from the software homepage. Then click on the green button marked Create Private Table. You can then select from a long list of possible table types. In addition to this, you can choose:

  • Maximum number of players.
  • Table restrictions (private or unrestricted).
  • The game speed. There are three types of game speed: Normal, the same as regular tables, Adaptive, the time changes according to how players have played previously, and Turbo. When you choose this option, players have less time to think to give a faster pace to the game.
Tables with turbo- or adaptive speed have a small, green flash icon next to them in the lobby.

When crating a private table you may write a description of the table. The description will be shown in the lobby when someone selects that table.

Once you have chosen your table’s settings, click on the Create button, and your table will then be created. Please note that it may take up to a minute before the table is visible in the lobby.

To join your private table, players will have to ask for your authorisation. You are free to accept or deny their requests.
