While seated you can either be active (sit in) or passive (sit out). Until you click on sit in you will not take part in the game (although you can follow what is going on and join the conversation). Once you are active, you participate in each new hand until you click on sit out. The buttonsThe following control buttons concern your participation in the game:
Decision timeThere is a time limit on how long you can think before deciding. Once a dialog box appears, you have roughly 30 seconds to make your choice. If you fail to act within that time, your hand will be automatically checked/folded. DisconnectionsLegitimate disconnections (ex. caused by network problems) will make you All-In, which means that your cards will stay in the game, but you will not be eligible to win more than what was in the pot when you last made a move. Also note that there is a limit of 3 All-Ins per 24 hour period. After that your hand will no longer be protected. That limit is used in order to stop people from abusing the all-in system, by deliberately going All-In. You will see the number of All-Ins you have left for the day when you arrive at a table. Player’s NotesJust click on a player and a small menu will appear. Select the Player Notes option to bring up a notes window. You can then enter notes about that particular player. You don't have to open up the notes window again to read your notes, simply put the mouse pointer over the notes icon and your notes will appear as a tool tip after a second or so. |
